Dr. Susan Rusnack is a native of the Pasadena area, where she attended the Polytechnic School. She was awarded a Bachelors Degree from Rice University and continued on to Jefferson Medical College to earn her M.D.
Dr. Rusnack completed her urology residency and served as Chief Resident at Columbia University – New York Presbyterian Hospital. She continued her training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, completing a laparoscopic and robotic surgery fellowship.
Initially, Dr. Rusnack practiced urology in northern New Jersey. During that time, she honed her robotic skills and began to apply them to pelvic floor reconstruction in women. While practicing in New Jersery, Dr. Rusnack was also a clinical professor for the Columbia University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in urogynecology.
After a 21 year absence, Dr. Rusnack returned to the Los Angeles area to continue her practice. She is well known for compassionate care and finds it is critical importance to spend the time to explain and educate patients about their urologic issues.
